Student Bible

The Bible happens to be a remarkable book, however its marvels are frequently buried surprisingly deep. The Student Bible dives deeply yet instills that heritage as well as effect right on that study desk! It is rich, significantly expansive, full of meaning-- however regularly, that meaning is challenging to decipher in its original context. The Bible was composed over thousands of years, by dozens of writers. Linking the dots between their messages can from time to time be tricky. It's particularly difficult given that the writers resided in several varied societies; all extremely different to our own.

All sorts of details can easily get dropped in translation, by no fault of the translators themselves: humor, poetic devices, and odd references to the then-current milieu. There will come a time to abandon casual browsing and ask for support from those who have actually researched it long before. It is probably time to upgrade to a Student Bible.

What Makes A Student Bible So Special?

Student Bible is a combination of unique commentary: whether generalized or exact, which works to broaden the reader's understanding of the most important book they could possibly ever read. In Psalm 119:115, we find this,"Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (NIV) God's Word presents us the way we should live our lives, but sometimes it can be difficult for us to realize how to apply that to our daily lives. The NIV Student Bible is built to shine a light on, and bring extraordinary insight to how the words composed millennia ago have the ability to steer us still today.

The title - Students - does not imply just a student is able to make use of this Bible, or that you must be an undergraduate in order to benefit. This group of Bible merely promotes content specifically created with the student in mind; regardless if you happen to be a high school student, college student, or student at your local church evening Bible Study session. So do not let the name steer you away just because you happen to be not already pursuing a degree in higher education. Think of this a Bible for individuals going after a greater amount of understanding in God's Word.

Study To Have Right Answers To Questions The World Happens to Be Asking

2 Peter 3:15 advises us, "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have." (NIV) It is very important that we be able to answer those that call into question us concerning our belief. Today, skeptics run rampant, alleging the Bible is full of contradictions; that suffering disproves the existence of a caring God, or that science has gotten rid of every desire for God whatsoever. Others claim Christianity arose from pagan religions, or that its system of ethics is barbaric, antiquated, or inferior to other religions. Apologetics Bibles are for the even more committed student or rising apologist. These have articles and by-lines created by Ravi Zacharias, Norman Geisler, J. P. Moreland, Hank Hanegraaff as well as others on all of the above topics, and more!
