Are Satellite Internet Signals Blocking Intergalactic Communication?

"Are Satellite Internet Signals Blocking Intergalactic Communication?"," The founder of SETI, Dr. ?
He also believes that without sending detectable transmissions like those from analogue television and radio out into space, the Earth will remain to intergalactic intelligent life 'invisible,' and alien life will be hard pressed to find Earth.
Drake think our chances of being 'seen' are worse than ever? The guilty parties are modern digital technologies such as satellite radio, satellite television, and of course satellite internet.
The final transmissions which will make a big space impact have made it to a distance of 50 light years away from the Earth forming a gigantic radiation 'shell' of detectable information around our planet.
This extremely vast distance reaches even to separate star systems, but does not seem to have reached intelligent extraterrestrial life.
Today's digital transmissions also generate much less wattage which is good for the old utilities bill, but bad for contacting aliens.
When these weak signals are continually bounced out of space and back towards Earth by satellite internet satellites and satellite television satellites, far fewer escape into space.

All in all, these changes to the amount of wattage the planet needs to operate, and streamlined communications systems are good for everyone involved, except poor Dr.
Now, as a relatively 'invisible' planet, Earth and its scientists are going to have to think of new ways to make contact.
As Earth-bound satellite broadband technology seems to be pushing our civilization farther into the future, Dr.

Instead of giving up your Earthly technologies for the sake of finding extraterrestrial life, why not use that access to satellite internet broadband to start studying.
Drake to help devise the next and newest form of interplanetary communications.
